Founded by Sean Taylor, Up to Par Management, LLC began in 2009 as a hospitality and sports marketing firm. After building a portfolio of 60 clients, we quickly recognized that we were developing fabulous brands, but our ideas were not being heard by the management team. With that in mind, we transitioned our business model to include managing the properties we were marketing. With this added service, we felt more confident we would be able to help our clients perform significantly better.
Today, Up To Par Management, LLC is a leading club and resort management company specializing in golf, country club, and hospitality operations. We understand the nuances of branding, marketing, advertising, public relations, and sales, and their impact on your company. We work with our clients to build and sell a message that will inspire their members and customers. Unlike many management companies, Up to Par offers dedicated sales representatives to generate leads for special events and tournaments and facilitate event planning. Our goal is to enhance the brand perception and deliver positive financial results of each of our managed properties.
Prior to hiring Up to Par, our Country Club lost $211,000 annually. During their first year, Up to Par generated $89,000 in positive net operating income — which is a $300,000 difference from previous years. Sales and marketing was a big part of their success.
